While it is different, one thing that this quarterback room and the one last year have in common is experience &#8212; oh, and youth (so two things). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year, Michigan State didn\u2019t have a quarterback who had a lot of playing experience going into the season, and you could argue the same thing with this year&#8217;s room until now. While Aidan Chiles did get playing time last year at Oregon State, Michigan State needed a quarterback with a lot of experience behind him. He&#8217;s a very experienced quarterback who holds the career record for passing yards and touchdowns at North Dakota. Not only has he thrown for over 9,000 yards in his career, but he is also very accurate. Schuster is very much a pocket passer as he didn&#8217;t run a lot at North Dakota and probably won\u2019t at Michigan State either. He is the perfect type of quarterback that Michigan State needs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schuster is someone who is not only going to bring experience but he is actually from Michigan.
