According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the No. 274 player in the class and the No. 28 player at his position. He is also the No. 11 player in Ohio which is very impressive considering all the talent that comes from that state.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of Midwest schools have also offered Dante including Minnesota, Louisville, Tennessee, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech. USC has even offered McClellan all the way from California. But Kentucky stands out right now as they are the only team \u201cwarm\u201d on his 247Sports recruiting profile.<\/p>\n<h3>Why I think MSU has a good chance<\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s still early in his recruitment, but I think Michigan State stands a decent chance at winning it right now. The Spartans only offered him on Jan. 24 and only one day later he announced he has already planned a visit to East Lansing. This visit is also only about a week since he got the MSU offer as well. That tells me that he\u2019s ecstatic about MSU\u2019s offer and likely has the Spartans near the top of his list.<\/p>\n<p>We likely will find out more about his recruitment after his visit next weekend.
