The 2024 NFL Draft wasn’t exactly an exciting one for Michigan State football<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n Unlike in previous years, the Spartans didn’t have a ton of draft prospects and only one player — Nick Samac<\/a> — was selected in the seventh round by the Baltimore Ravens. Samac will be fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster this fall but he won’t be the only one.<\/p>\n While drafted players have a leg up when it comes to fighting for roster spots, undrafted free agents and minicamp invitees can still push for a spot. Had he never been suspended during the 2022 season for the tunnel incident, he may have been a mid-round pick this year. Heck, he might have even come out last year.
