Both 247Sports and On3 have him listed as a three-star, but he&#8217;s right on the edge of becoming a four-star on both of those recruiting services as well. By the time his senior year ends, I wouldn&#8217;t be shocked to see the East Lansing native tabbed as a four-star by all major databases.<\/p>\n<p>Clarizio is now the first four-star in the Spartans&#8217; 2025 class, leading the way for guys like Leon Hannan or Di&#8217;Mari Malone to soon follow suit. If I were to guess, I&#8217;d say that both of those three-star commits will also become four-stars by the end of the process.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Smith is doing a really solid job of building his first full recruiting class not just by starpower but with guys who really fit the Spartan mold. Clarizio is just the latest example of a Michigan State recruit who was undervalued early in the process but who caught the eye of the staff and is finally getting the respect he deserves.
