As Michigan State football<\/a> fans, we know all too well what it’s like to deal with the delusion from the fanbase down the road.<\/p>\n When Michigan State is good, it’s because Michigan is bad. When the Spartans beat the Wolverines, it’s because of weather or the refs or something else out of Michigan’s control. When a recruit chooses Michigan State over Michigan, it’s because he wasn’t a fit for the Wolverines or they just passed on him.<\/p>\n These are just the most predictable excuses that Michigan fans use to justify, well, basically anything.<\/p>\n But when Michigan fans bash a recruit or a player that chooses the Spartans over the Wolverines, it often gets noticed by said player and his family.
