The <a href=\"http:\/\/spartanshadows.com\/michigan-state-basketball-reaches-out-to-tcu-transfer-eddie-lampkin\/\">Michigan State basketball<\/a> coach landed the No. 3 class in the country for 2023 and the 2024 group looks like it could be just as impressive.<\/p>\n<p>There are several targets on the board for the Spartans in 2024 and one of them could kick off the class with a bang early next week.<\/p>\n<p>Kur Teng, one of Michigan State&#8217;s top targets in the 2024 class, tweeted on Thursday night that he would be committing on Monday and choosing between Providence, Rutgers, and MSU.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Commitment on Monday!!\u2764\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9k6DQiYTnE\">pic.twitter.com\/9k6DQiYTnE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kur Teng (@KurTeng3) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KurTeng3\/status\/1641619444697821185?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The feeling here is that it&#8217;s a two-team race between the Spartans and Scarlet Knights, especially since Ed Cooley left Providence for Georgetown. And a couple of weeks ago, an insider (Andrew Slater) stated that Michigan State and Izzo are in a favorable spot.<\/p>\n<p>So let&#8217;s just say that Michigan State does land Teng, that gives the team a heck of a lineup for the 2024-25 season. While Teng could come off the bench, I&#8217;m just imagining a lineup with him in there (even more of a dream scenario if Jaden Akins comes back for a senior year):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PG: Jeremy Fears<\/li>\n<li>Wing: Jaden Akins<\/li>\n<li>Wing: Coen Carr (Teng off the bench)<\/li>\n<li>PF: Xavier Booker\/Jaxon Kohler<\/li>\n<li>C: Flory Bidunga (dream addition)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That lineup is not only Big Ten title-worthy, but it could push for a national title as well.
