Michigan State football has extended an offer to New Jersey quarterback prospect Miles O’Neill who has flown under the radar.<\/h2>\n

The quarterback position is arguably the most important position on a football team. While Michigan State football is dealing with a current quarterback competition going into the fall, the staff is always looking to the future.<\/p>\n

According to 247Sports, MSU has extended scholarship offers to 16 different quarterback prospects in the 2024 class, but most of them at this point have already committed to a school. The newest player to receive a heralded offer from the Green and White is Miles O’Neill.<\/p>\n

O’Neill is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect from Hun School in Princeton, N.J. At the time of this writing, O’Neill has racked up offers from MSU, Maryland, Virginia, Boston College, Connecticut, Fordham, Temple, and some Ivy League schools. O’Neill is also unranked according to all major recruiting sites (at this time).<\/p>\n

Off of that information alone, this offer can be a bit of a head-scratcher.<\/p>\n
