He also started nine games this season and totaled 34 tackles with an interception of former Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan back in March.<\/p>\n<p>Brown&#8217;s Renegades actually beat another Spartan in Jacub Panasiuk who plays for the Defenders.<\/p>\n<p>Although they aren&#8217;t currently in the NFL, it&#8217;s good to see these Spartans get some exposure in the XFL and, like Mike Panasiuk, they could earn another shot at the next level.<\/p>\n<p>Brown had a solid season with the Renegades in his first XFL year. Previously he had stints in the NFL with the Steelers, Chiefs, and Titans and even had a pitstop in the USFL. His experience surely helped him lead that Renegades&#8217; defense and his nine starts showed that he earned the trust of head coach Bob Stoops &#8212; he started every game that he appeared in.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure there were NFL teams watching the XFL this year, scouting some potential talent to add to their rosters this fall or invite to minicamps.
