{"id":5582,"date":"2023-07-10T09:00:39","date_gmt":"2023-07-10T13:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spartanshadows.com\/?p=5582"},"modified":"2023-07-10T04:00:32","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T08:00:32","slug":"former-lakers-teammate-says-max-christie-gonna-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spartanshadows.com\/?p=5582","title":{"rendered":"Former Lakers teammate says Max Christie is &#8220;gonna be a problem&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Former Lakers teammate Dennis Schroder says that Max Christie is going to be a problem and have a long NBA career.<\/h2>\n<p>In the middle of the summer, there&#8217;s very little to talk about when it comes to the sports world, but NBA Summer League has taken center stage with MLB heading into the All-Star break.<\/p>\n<p>And one of the biggest stars of this year&#8217;s Summer League has been Max Christie.<\/p>\n<p>The Spartan has been putting up some numbers for the Lakers over the past week, or so, and it feels like he&#8217;s earning a larger role on the roster for next season. You can&#8217;t put too much stock in the Summer League, but everyone has been singing his praises.<\/p>\n<p>That includes former teammate Dennis Schroder.<\/p>\n<p>Schroder, who is now with the Raptors, was Christie&#8217;s teammate with the Lakers during his rookie season and posted about the budding star on his Instagram story. So for him to claim that Christie is going to be a problem and that he&#8217;s going to have a long NBA career carries plenty of weight. He was only with him for a year and Max played sparingly with the Lakers as a rookie, but Schroder liked what he saw.<\/p>\n<p>Christie has been growing before our eyes in the Summer League so far, putting up some big-time performances. He&#8217;s playing with confidence and has been the best player on the floor for Los Angeles throughout Summer League play.<\/p>\n<p>I think Schroder may be on to something here.
