{"id":6005,"date":"2023-07-30T17:28:47","date_gmt":"2023-07-30T21:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spartanshadows.com\/?p=6005"},"modified":"2023-07-30T17:28:47","modified_gmt":"2023-07-30T21:28:47","slug":"michigan-state-football-unveils-new-black-jerseys-photo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spartanshadows.com\/?p=6005","title":{"rendered":"Michigan State football unveils new black jerseys (Photo)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Michigan State football released three new jerseys for 2023 today at the \u201cThy Shadows\u201d event, including a black concept.<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After weeks of anticipation and rumors circulating, the Michigan State football program unveiled new jerseys on Friday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Partnering with Nike per usual, the new jerseys will be used this upcoming season. Nike placed a lot of new technology into the jerseys and fans at the \u201cThy Shadows\u201d event were thrilled to get the first glimpse of them. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Let\u2019s break down the new changes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fans have been begging for a black jersey for years. Wait no more. On top of the new alternates, fans will see changes to the home green jerseys and road whites. Nike infused new technology into all jerseys. Here are the changes, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Sheehan_Sports\/status\/1685072191598034944?s=20\">per Matt Sheehan<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">They are the first college football jerseys to be considered a true Dri-Fit material.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">All jerseys will have the \u201cGreek key\u201d pattern on the sleeve to symbolize unity across all MSU athletics. The Greek key is famously seen on the basketball shorts in some uniform combos.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The team mantra of \u201crelentless\u201d is written on the inside of the collar on all jerseys.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The black helmet is the only one with its carbon variant in the country.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The MSU Football Twitter account release dubbed the black jerseys \u201cThe Shadows\u201d uniform.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The Shadows uniforms will be in the regular rotation. Not a full alternate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Seeing fan reactions from the jerseys really bring it home. Some of the lucky MSU Twitter members shared some up close pictures of them and I must say, they look awesome. Personally, I love the Shadows jerseys. Not just cause of the name and the fact you\u2019re reading this on Spartan Shadows.
