Michigan State basketball<\/a> fans are thrilled about the upcoming season and a large reason for the excitement is the incoming freshman class. Guys like Jeremy Fears, Xavier Booker, Coen Carr, and Gehrig Normand are expected to contribute right away to a roster that already feels loaded.<\/p>\n There’s even been chatter of at least one of these freshmen cracking the starting lineup at some point.<\/p>\n While it’s way too early to even make that prediction because no one has seen these guys live against college-level competition, Tom Izzo is making sure to temper expectations for at least one of them.<\/p>\n Izzo spoke at Big Ten Media Days on Tuesday and stated that Booker needs time to get stronger but he has a ton of potential.
