On Friday, Michigan State basketball fell to UConn in the Sweet 16. The Spartans rallied from down 19 points to lead in the second half, but ran out of gas in the end. The trip to Washington D.C. was the end of the road for the Spartans, with a long offseason beginning. This game also marked the end of the collegiate careers for Carson Cooper, Jaxon Kohler, Trey Fort III, Denham Wojcik, and Nick Sanders.

Nolan Gerou was on hand to capture the game for Spartan Shadows, and here are his best images from the season-ending loss at Capital One Arena.
