Michigan State basketball was in action on January 8, taking down Northwestern on the strength of a strong second half. The Spartans faced adversity when Jeremy Fears Jr. was out of the game early after two fouls before the game was five minutes old. Michigan State and Fears rallied for the thrilling 76-66 victory, and Spartan Shadows’ photographer Nolan Gerou was on hand to capture the magic. Here are his best shots from the event.
