According to Jaden Akins, Michigan State basketball will have its games in Spain live streamed — we don’t know where yet.
Excited for the upcoming Michigan State basketball season and can’t wait to watch the Spartans take the floor?
Well, you may not have to wait until October after all.
The Spartans are currently on a trip to Spain where they will not only take in the sights overseas and learn some history, but they’ll also play at least a few games against some club teams.
While it may be difficult to watch Michigan State play because of the time difference and the fact that it’s probably impossible to find live streams of random exhibition games between college teams and overseas clubs, Jaden Akins hinted at a live stream being available for fans.
The senior guard spoke on the This Is Sparta MSU podcast recently about the trip and said that he knows a live stream will be available but he doesn’t know where just yet.
This is great news for fans because, well, we’ve been craving some MSU hoops even though the 2023-24 season didn’t play out quite as we had hoped. AJ Hoggard and Mady Sissoko didn’t take the necessary next steps that the team needed to make a legit national title push and great senior years by Tyson Walker and Malik Hall felt wasted. Now, the roster looks completely different with five newcomers, two of which are from the transfer portal.
Frankie Fidler showed off during Moneyball and fans are excited to see if Szymon Zapala can hold his own at center. Kur Teng and Jase Richardson both look like budding stars as well and the roster looks to be full of potential.
Fortunately, we will likely be able to watch them take the court overseas during this Spain trip. Keep it tuned in here as we will update the live stream information when we get it.
