Michigan State football commit Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy has been putting up some gaudy numbers so far this season.

As Michigan State football continues to roll, its 2026 class continues to impress on the high school circuit.

Joey Caudill has posted impressive numbers during his final season of high school ball, Samson Gash was recently nominated for player of the week in Michigan high school ball, and, this week, Florida athlete Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy turned Wolfson High School into his own highlight tape.

Know the name: Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy

Caldwell-Hardy recorded 208 rushing yards on four carries (52 yards per carry, you are reading that correct) with a house call, then contributed 86 yards receiving, with the main highlight of his pass catching game being an 80-yard touchdown.

The Impact Christian athlete was not done, either, as he added seven tackles, one for loss, against Wolfson. His efforts have him up for athlete of the week in Northeast Florida.

Through the first three games of the season, the Florida defensive back has been everywhere. He has 21 tackles with one for loss on the defensive side, as Impact Christian has blanked all three of their opponents on the season.

Offensively, he has 337 yards on 14 carries (24.1 per attempt), with four touchdowns. Two of his three games this year have been a 100-yard outing, unsurprisingly. He also has added 132 yards on four catches so far. Overall, Caldwell-Hardy accounts for five of his team’s 14 offensive touchdowns on the season.

Caldwell-Hardy is not done on the stat sheet, either. He has 51 yards on punt return too during his senior campaign. Overall, his stat line seems straight off of a video game sheet. Better yet, the athlete behind those numbers is set to step foot in East Lansing next fall.

Caldwell-Hardy chose the Spartans over Florida Atlantic, Tulane, and UCLA, amongst his 10 offers. He is ranked No. 1,356 nationally, at an 86-rated prospect rating on 247Sports. That mark last rose in July, but, if the projected safety keeps putting numbers up like this, expect another favorable bump before he signs with the Spartans.

Michigan State Media and Information Management Class of '22. Emmett covers primarily football, recruiting, and basketball for Spartan Shadows, alongside writing for Detroit Lions on SI. He has also written for Spartan Avenue, Basic Blues, and Hail WV.
