Michigan State football: Where have undrafted Spartans signed?
A handful of undrafted Spartans have new homes.
Wondering where all of the undrafted Michigan State football players signed following the 2024 NFL Draft? We’ve got you covered.
The 2024 NFL Draft wasn’t exactly an exciting one for Michigan State football fans.
Unlike in previous years, the Spartans didn’t have a ton of draft prospects and only one player — Nick Samac — was selected in the seventh round by the Baltimore Ravens. Samac will be fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster this fall but he won’t be the only one.
While drafted players have a leg up when it comes to fighting for roster spots, undrafted free agents and minicamp invitees can still push for a spot. And there were a handful of Spartans signed as undrafted free agents and others earning minicamp invites.
Wondering where the undrafted Spartans went following the draft? We’ve got you covered.
Jacoby Windmon was probably the biggest name to go undrafted from Michigan State. Had he never been suspended during the 2022 season for the tunnel incident, he may have been a mid-round pick this year. Heck, he might have even come out last year. But his career hit a wall of sorts and the once-promising draft prospect went unselected and signed with the Steelers.

Tre Mosley had a somewhat disappointing final season with Michigan State football after opting to come back. He has potential and is one of the more sure-handed targets to come out of Michigan State, but he just needs a good fit. We’ll see if that’s, in fact, Cincinnati.

Harold Joiner is a name that people probably overlooked and it’s because he bounced around on both sides of the ball at Michigan State. A really talented athlete who needs to find the right spot. He got a minicamp invite from the Colts.

Aaron Brule also received a minicamp invite after a disappointing end to his Spartan career. He bounced back in 2023 after a quiet 2022 season but he never really lived up to that “second-round talent” hype from when he transferred to MSU.

Another transfer to Michigan State, Jalen Sami was praised heavily by Mel Tucker when he picked the Spartans but had a quiet 2023 season in East Lansing. He earned a minicamp invite from the Dolphins.
These guys join Nick Samac as the other Spartan to find an NFL team. Former Spartan Keon Coleman was selected No. 33 overall by the Buffalo Bills.
