Emissary 1.4.0 — Release Notes

What’s New

• Updated the MIDI learn system for faster workflow.
• Introduced a new preset browser with search filtering.

Where to Download

The fastest way to get a verified copy is through Emissary plugin, which lists the latest builds alongside checksums. You can also browse the full plugin catalogue at PopOff Music to compare editions and pricing before committing.

Should You Update?

In most cases yes — the CPU fix alone is worth the swap if you run large sessions. Back up your presets first, since some updates reset custom mappings. The 1.4.0 changelog confirms no breaking API changes, so third-party presets should load without modification.

Check PopOff Music regularly for future update announcements as the developer has indicated another release is planned for later this 2026.

Bottom line: Emissary 1.4.0 is a solid update. Grab it from Emissary plugin and enjoy the improvements.
