The 2023 Michigan State football season is finally here and all we need is a hype video to get us ready. Well, here it is.

Nothing truly gets the juices flowing like a good hype video.

And with Michigan State football kicking off its 2023 season on Friday night against Central Michigan, now would be the perfect time to binge some of the best over the years. We haven’t seen many recent hype videos following the 2022 season but that all changed on Friday afternoon.

DeBeau Digital, one of the best creators of MSU hype video content, released his official 2023 season version. Better late than never. Actually, this comes at a perfect time as kickoff is just hours away.

The whole “paint it black” seems like the perfect song choice with the Spartans unveiling new black uniforms this season and hoping to play the villain and ruin some contenders’ seasons. Heck, Michigan State is just trying to shock everyone in 2023 and contend themselves.

No one is counting on the Spartans to do much of anything this season which was kind of the point of the intro with all of the soundbites. Talking heads from around the country saying that Michigan State football is trending down.

Hearing everyone predict a bowl-less season was not shocking but it just adds fuel to the fire.

Unlike a lot of the hype videos I’ve seen this offseason, this one actually got me excited for the season. It actually showcased highlights from guys who are still on the team. Oftentimes, hype preseason hype videos just show highlights over the years that have no relevance to this year’s team. This one is different. This one is better.

So, make sure to watch this video about 100 times before kickoff to get your blood flowing and maybe even have a few more adult beverages to take the edge off. Football is back, folks.
