Michigan State football trending heavily for 4-star WR Nick Marsh

Four-star receiver Nick Marsh was once committed to Michigan State football and we could soon witness a rare re-commitment.

It’s been quite the past month for Mel Tucker and Michigan State football.

The Spartans have gone from three total commits in heading into June to now having 11 at the beginning of July with a few more potentially on the way very soon.

Just how soon are we talking? Well, a couple of top targets are announcing on July 7 and a handful of others have been eyeing summer commitments.

One of the two targets announcing on July 7 is four-star receiver Nick Marsh. He was once committed to Michigan State before reopening his recruitment this spring. Penn State had been the leader ever since his official visit but the Spartans seem to have swung the momentum back in their favor.

In fact, Justin Thind, Allen Trieu, and Corey Robinson all placed crystal balls for the Spartans to land Marsh on Wednesday. His commitment is just two days away.

This is a pretty major development considering he’s about to announce his commitment on Friday. He’ll be choosing between Penn State, MSU, Pitt, and Kansas. The Spartans are now the presumed leader after trending since his latest trip to East Lansing.

It would also be cool to see him commit to Michigan State so he can attend Spartan Dawg Con later this month and get closer with the coaches and former players.

Marsh has been atop Michigan State’s 2024 board all along and it seems like he was destined to become a Spartan. He has all the tools to become the next great MSU receiver.

The 6-foot-3 River Rouge native is ranked the No. 100 overall recruit in the class as well as the 16th-best receiver and the state’s No. 3 prospect. What a recruiting win this would be for Tucker — again.
