Michigan State players and recruits reacted to the news of Aidan Chiles committing on Thursday, and they loved it.
After a long time coming, former Oregon State quarterback and top 60 recruit Aidan Chiles has officially committed to Jonathan Smith and Michigan State. When Smith left OSU for the Michigan State job, it was expected that some of his players follow him. Chiles was the most anticipated of them all.
With news breaking on Thursday afternoon, players (and their moms) are more than excited to have their new signal-caller. Here are their reactions:
Mama Tron, mother of four-star receiver commit Nick Marsh, is celebrating big time knowing her son will be in good hands with Chiles slinging the rock to him for the next couple of seasons, at least.
After committing just the other day, Makhi Frazier is pumped to see Chiles join his new school. He was originally committed to Oregon State so he had always planned to be his teammate.
Gavin Broscious is a sophomore offensive lineman who was injured his freshman year. He’ll be protecting Chiles at all costs the next couple seasons
Something tells me Nick Marsh is ready to break records when he joins the team and working with Chiles.
Brennan Parachek will see more playing time next year and he’s pumped for Chiles to be getting him the ball.
Former MSU starting linebacker Chris Frey absolutely approves of this new addition.
Dillon Tatum is pretty happy to have QB1 finally committed to Michigan State.
Although Tyrell Henry is currently in the transfer portal, there is still an opportunity for him to return. This may not be directly related to Chiles commitment, but it’s quite the coincidence he tweeted it right when the news broke.
This is some really awesome news coming out of East Lansing following the first official visit weekend of the Jonathan Smith era. Three players who were on campus this weekend have already committed. Bravo, Coach Smith. This is one heck of a start.
