Michigan State football linebacker signee Jordan Hall was one of the most impressive prospects at the Under Armour All-American Game.
Each year, the best high school football players in the nation are invited to All-American games, whether it be the Under Armour or Army event. This year, Michigan State football had a couple of representatives in the former as Jordan Hall and Stanton Ramil took part in the Under Armour All-American Game.
And both four-star Spartan signees drew a ton of praise from scouts and recruiting experts.
Ramil was the first to really draw attention with his size and ability to move well for a 6-7 offensive tackle and praise started flowing in for Hall later in the week and during the game.
Hall’s mom, Cyreeta, posted this screenshot from Rivals on Twitter about her son’s stock on the rise after the Under Armour All-American Game:
Hall is already the No. 105 recruit in the nation on Rivals and it looks like they believe he’s a top-100 talent.
As if one major recruiting site’s praise wasn’t enough, Andrew Ivins of 247Sports also spoke highly of Hall in a recent article recapping the Under Armour event.
Ivins called Hall the “best run-game linebacker” and had this to say:
I have a bit of a soft spot for Jordan Hall after watching him crash A and B gaps every Friday night at IMG Academy for the past two years. The future Spartan may not be the best in reverse, but he excels at reading what’s going on in front of him and then quickly arriving on scene with the intentions of hurting someone. Hall made one of the underlying plays of the game on Tuesday when he dropped a ball carrier for a three-yard loss on fourth down. It’s likely going to be hard for Mel Tucker & Co. to keep him off the field in 2023.
Talk about some high praise from a guy who covers the best prospects in the nation. If he’s the best run-game linebacker from an event like the Under Armour All-American Game, you’d have to think he’s probably ready to see the field immediately in 2023.
Michigan State’s front-seven for 2023 is looking stronger by the day and this development regarding Hall being a breakout star at the Under Armour event is proof of that.
