Michigan State football released its official injury report ahead of Saturday’s Ohio State game and Nick Marsh is questionable.

The long-awaited availability (or injury) report for Michigan State football was released on Saturday evening just hours before kickoff and there were some interesting names listed as ‘questionable’ and ‘out’ as well.

For starters, everyone is wondering about Nick Marsh and the availability report has him listed as ‘questionable’ along with offensive lineman Stanton Ramil. The Ramil injury is new and has to worry everyone regarding the offense’s ability to protect Aidan Chiles.

Here’s the full availability report:

This is somewhat positive considering there were murmurs that Marsh might be out for a few weeks, but if he can return against the Buckeyes, the offense will get a nice shot in the arm. Unfortunately, he’s not the only receiver on the availability report as Antonio Gates Jr. is listed as ‘out’ along with Alante Brown. So if Marsh can’t go, that means the Spartans will be down three receivers again — they were down four a week ago with Jaron Glover out, too.

Fortunately, Glover isn’t listed on the report which means that he’ll be playing.

There was another surprise on the availability report in the form of rising tight end Michael Masunas who is listed as ‘out’ despite not missing time earlier in the season. So there are a few new names on the report that are concerning, but getting Marsh back is the main priority.

Chiles and the Spartans could use all the help they can get offensively so missing Gates and Masunas hurts. Adding Marsh to that list of absent players will just gut the offense completely.

Hopefully these injuries don’t come back to bite the Spartans and it’s been a wild day of college football already, so why not keep that going on Saturday night in East Lansing?
