Michigan State football: Noah Kim, darkhorse Heisman?

I might be joking, but we’re here to push narratives. Michigan State football fans, get the “Kim for Heisman” chants ready.

To put things in perspective, ChopMan is a 26-year-old who has been on social media practically since it was a thing in 2010ish. I’ve recently come across new slang called ‘copypasta’ which has made me question if I truly am ‘young’ any more.

The reason why I’m telling you this has to do with former Michigan State football quarterback, Payton Throne, is officially transferring to Auburn. It’s clear that Auburn fans are excited even if the below tweet is known as ‘copypasta.’

This is the year. Payton Thorne has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for the Heisman.

What I’m about to say may scare many of you so viewer discretion is advised. I’m taking a page out of the blue wall from the school down below for the next part of this bit: If Payton Thorne can transfer to Auburn and immediately become a darkhorse Heisman candidate why can’t Noah Kim? I think MSU fans are a little more level headed than those in the conference where it ‘just means more’ but Kim was 14-for-19 last season with three touchdowns. According to Chopalytics, that’s .15 touchdowns per attempt which comes to 67.5 touchdown passes if he were to reach 450 passing attempts.

Sounds like Heisman to me. More touchdowns than Joe Brrr threw in 2019 (60) on the road to a national championship.

What I’m trying to say is: MSU is primed to have a Heisman winner and win the national title this season. Don’t argue with the Chopalytics, they never lie.
