Michigan State football has offered one of the best offensive linemen in the country this week in Seuseu Alofaituli.
Michigan State football and Jonathan Smith have made another huge offer in the 2025 class. Everyone knows that a solid offensive line is critical for any good football team, and that’s exactly what MSU is trying to do with this offer.
Michigan State has just offered a top 50 prospect in the entire 2025 class, Seuseu Alofaituli.
Four-star offensive lineman Seuseu Alofaituli
Seuseu Alofaituli “SJ” is about as good as they come in high school football. He is an offensive lineman from Las Vegas. He stands at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds which is the perfect size for someone in the interior of the offensive line.
And 247Sports is very high on Alofaituli as a recruit. They have him as a four-star recruit and the No. 36 overall player in his class. He is also the No. 2 player in the country at his position and the No. 1 player in the state of Nevada.
Alofaituli also received some high honors after his sophomore season in 2022. He was named to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-America first-team back in the fall of 2022.
Recruiting competition
Michigan State is going to have to beat out some heavy hitters if they want to win this recruitment. He also holds other offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oregon, just to name a few. Alofaituli has also even gone on a few visits already, including to Michigan this past fall. It’s no secret that the Spartans have a lot of ground to make up in this recruitment.
Fortunately for MSU, they have an elite offensive line coach in East Lansing. Jim Michalczik is the new offensive line coach for MSU and he has a great reputation. He has coaching experience both in the NFL and college ranks and became known for developing great offensive lines at Oregon State. Thankfully for MSU, they have all that experience that they can sell SJ.
The next step for Michigan State will be to get Alofaituli on campus. That will be no small task considering the offers he has, but if MSU can get him on campus then we can start feeling good about this recruitment.
