Michigan State women’s basketball is projected as a Top 25 in one way-too-early rankings list on social media.

For the first time in years, the Michigan State women’s basketball team is being projected to be a Top 25 team.

This is a page that covers all of women’s basketball and has Michigan State as the 25th-best team in their way-too-early poll for next season. While these polls might not mean a lot to fans, they should demonstrate how far this program has come in just a year. Way-too-early polls don’t mean that this team is going to be very good next year but it also shows that fans are seeing and liking what Robyn Fralick is doing in East Lansing.

What has Fralick done so far at Michigan State? She took a team that had a lot of injuries, especially in the front court, and took them to the NCAA Tournament. This is a team that is losing their starting point guard in the portal and they’re expected to be better next year, Fralick has done this through the transfer portal. She has gone out and got players that fit her system. It’s a fast-paced offense that will get after you on defense as well.

There have been some very good offensive players that came into Michigan State through the transfer portal like Grace VanSlooten. There have also been guards who are great at handling the ball and stealing as well who are coming to Michigan State.

Fralick has used the transfer portal to get more talent into the room and fans and pages are taking notice of it. Michigan State was fun last year because of their pace and offense but without much size. This year, Michigan State is still going to have that pace but now has some size on the inside.

With these additions, Michigan State should have a good season and this poll shows that fans believe it could be a possibility as well.
