Four-star receiver Nick Marsh is Michigan State’s top offensive target and he just received a futurecast from a Penn State writer.
Summer official visit season has officially wrapped up and it sounds like Michigan State may have just knocked it out of the park.
Some big names were just on campus and from the sounds of it, Michigan State made a monster move with at least a couple of them. Who? Well, on Monday, Justin Thind and Corey Robinson placed crystal balls for the Spartans to land top-100 running back Jason Brown. And on Tuesday, Penn State recruiting analyst Dylan Callaghan-Croley flipped his Rivals futurecast prediction for Nick Marsh.
Originally, Callaghan-Croley projected Penn State to land Marsh following his visit in early June, but the tides seem to have turned in Michigan State’s favor.
Marsh gave Michigan State the final official visit over the weekend of June 23 and the Spartans didn’t disappoint. From all accounts, Marsh loved his visit and his whole family was there. A video of Marsh dancing with his grandma at Spartan Stadium even surfaced and Tre Mosley even noted how much fun they had been having all weekend.
Marsh has said that he wants to go somewhere where he feels loved and it’s clear he has that at Michigan State. Fans have been in his corner even after he decommitted from the Spartans — this is just something you usually don’t see when a top recruit decommits.
And now, it looks like he’s closer to being a Spartan than he has been in months.
In fact, Penn State has been the leader for about a month now. Even after he decommitted, no one knew what to think about his recruitment. Even Kansas and Pitt made a serious run.
But with commitment day just a little over a week away, Michigan State looks to be back in the driver’s seat.
