Tom Izzo has paid a visit to two of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class this week. He’s looking to build another elite class.

Tom Izzo just never stops working.

The Hall of Fame head coach wasted no time when Michigan State was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament last month to check out one of his 2024 class signees in his state title game. After that, he got right into the portal and reached out to a handful of wings. He landed Frankie Fidler from Omaha on Tuesday to eliminate that need.

Although fans are still clamoring for a transfer center, Izzo is still working on future rosters.

A center is still possible, but right now, Izzo is focused on the 2025 recruiting class. In fact, just hours after landing a commitment from Fidler, Izzo hit the road to visit one of his top big man targets in the 2025 class.

Bundalo is a talented power forward from Ohio who would fill an immediate need on next year’s team. He stands 6-foot-11 and weighs 195 pounds and can stretch the floor. Although he could afford to add some muscle, he would be a huge addition to the 2025 class — literally. Bundalo is ranked the No. 31 overall recruit in the class, per 247Sports. He’s also the No. 7 power forward and Ohio’s top prospect.

Shortly after visiting Bundalo, Izzo got right back on the road and took a trip to Virginia to see top small forward target Jordan Scott.

Scott is a 6-foot-7 wing from Virginia who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 185 pounds. He has ideal size for the wing spot and can do a little of everything. Scott is also high on Maryland and Virginia Tech.

His ties to Maryland might be tough to beat as his mother was first-team All-ACC there and also an assistant coach before converting to an analyst for NBC Sports, per Spartan Tailgate.

It’s pretty clear Tom Izzo has his work cut out for him, but he’s not afraid of that.
