Kee’yon Stewart likes tweet stating Michigan State football was used as “leverage”

Something about this whole recruitment doesn’t sit right.

Kee’yon Stewart was committed to Michigan State football for 11 days and then flipped his pledge on Wednesday.

Just like his commitment to Michigan State football came out of nowhere, Kee’yon Stewart’s flip to Arkansas was about as shocking as anything that’s happened this offseason.

The TCU cornerback transfer committed to Michigan State on May 6 and on Wednesday, he announced that he was committed to Arkansas. It was quite the change of heart. Eleven days is just not enough time to make a major life decision but Stewart made it look like just a change of clothes.

Plus, the whole “this is where I belong” tweet announcing his flip to Arkansas rubbed Michigan State fans the wrong way. And to think everyone defended him when the Detroit Free Press disrespected him.

As if his sudden flip and subsequent tweet weren’t enough, he had an interesting liked tweet from his commitment post. Justin Spiro put in the detective work and discovered that Stewart liked a tweet that basically said he used his Michigan State commitment as leverage to get a better offer.

The person who tweeted this probably didn’t mean that she thought Michigan State was a “worse job” since she’s a Spartan fan, but rather that’s how Stewart looked at it. This could also be an insinuation that Arkansas may have “offered” more like a better job would.

Either way, it’s an interesting tweet to like shortly after turning your back on a school that made you a priority in the transfer portal.

Stewart also liked some tweets from Arkansas fans calling Michigan State fans “salty” and referring to the Spartans as “MSWho.”

It’s safe to say Stewart isn’t going to have any fans residing in East Lansing next year.

An Arkansas vs. Michigan State bowl game would be must-see TV.
