Michigan State football and Pat Fitzgerald are preparing for one of their biggest non-game months of the year. The Spartans are preparing for official visit season, and the course of their recruiting fate for the 2027 class rides on how Fitzgerald and his well-built staff can pitch Michigan State to the players.

If there is any indication in how this staff is moving, early returns are good. On Thursday, the staff locked in three more official visits, with two of them receiving offers in the last week.

Who Is Visiting Michigan State Football?

The Spartans locked in visits with three offensive players. Drew Aagesen, an offensive lineman that lives an hour from East Lansing, received an offer on May 8 and locked in his official visit for June 5, which likely cancels his visit for Wisconsin, set the same day.

Aagesen currently serves as a defensive lineman and tight end for Goodrich High School. He ranks No. 1096 in the recruiting class, and no. 21 among players from Michigan.

The next two potential Spartans to lock in visits were a pair of receivers.

Reggie Gomiller, a 5-foot-10 receiver from East St. Louis (Ill.), became the first player to lock in a visit with Michigan State football for June 12. He is one the highest rated prospects on the Spartan board, being a four-star prospect.

247Sports lists Gomiller as no. 433 in the nation, no. 54 among wide receivers, and no. 16 among players from Illinois.

Maleik Brown quickly became the second player to be set to visit on June 12. The 6-foot-3 receiver showed length and production at Chapel Hill (Texas). He is rated no. 844 overall, no. 104 among receivers, and no. 113 among players from Texas.

June 5 Visitor Picks Up Second Power Four Offer

Shyne Parham, a corner with no ranking thus far in the recruiting cycle, earned his second Power Four offer during the cycle on Thursday. Kansas State became the second school in the big leagues to offer Parham. Michigan State was the first FBS team to offer Parham, and Appalachian State became the next domino. Now, Kansas State is the next team to offer.
