Top 2025 Michigan State football target Grant Beerman has scheduled two visits to East Lansing over the next few months.
Michigan State football is remaining hot on the recruiting trail. As I’ve talked about in my last couple of articles, Jonathan Smith has been starting to get some recruits locked in for upcoming visits. That hot streak is continuing apparently. News broke this morning that one of the Spartans’ top 2025 targets will be taking a couple of future trips to campus.
Allen Trieu, a 247Sports national recruiting analyst, and Spartan Tailgate are confirming that three-star linebacker Grant Beerman will be making two visits to East Lansing over the next few months. He will first be taking an unofficial visit on March 19. Next for his official visit weekend, he will be on campus on June 14.
Beerman is a three-star linebacker from Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio. He stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 210 pounds. He currently holds 26 offers. Some other schools include Kentucky, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Cincinnati. He was named first-team all-conference as a junior. He is also a great student on top of his football skills. He boasts a 4.1 GPA according to 247Sports.
The three-star has a lot of other visits taking place this year. He will be taking unofficial visits to the following schools outside of MSU over the next few months: Notre Dame, Pitt, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and Texas A&M. He also plans on going to Cincinnati, too, but that’s not scheduled.
For official visits, Grant has locked in Cincinnati on May 31 and Purdue on June 7 before coming to East Lansing.
Beerman certainly has a lot of visits planned. However, Michigan State is firmly in the competition for him. Jonathan Smith has made him one of the top priorities of their 2025 class. Expect MSU to pull out all the stops to try to get him to commit. Regardless, it’s great to see MSU locking in talented players to come to campus. Hopefully it can keep up the good momentum and get more players on the schedule soon.
