Michigan State football is involved with another top-tier transfer receiver in Colorado’s Montana Lemonious-Craig.

The transfer of Keon Coleman left the Michigan State football receiver room full of players that have a lot of potential but don’t have a lot of experience outside of Tre Mosley. This move left fans questioning if this the finished product at the position.

The answer to the question is ‘no’ because former Colorado wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig is currently on an official visit, according to Justin Thind of 247Sports.

Montana is a 6-foot-2 wide receiver that has played 25 games at Colorado. During those 25 games, he has had 34 catches for 497 yards and five touchdowns.

For those of you that might look at those stats and think Montana is just leaving because Deion Sanders didn’t want him, that’s not the case especially because of his performance during the spring game. For those of you that remember seeing a Colorado receiver go off at their spring game, that was Lemonious-Craig. He had 154 yards and a touchdown during Colorado’s spring game. He was easily the MVP of the scrimmage and instantly entered the portal after that.

Even the Colorado quarterbacks were upset by Montana transferring.

Schools like Penn State and Auburn are looking at Lemonious-Craig, according to Thind.

Montana is not only a fast receiver but he can go up and get the ball. Some of the best plays he had at Colorado were against the top talent in the Pac-12 like USC. He would be a great addition to the wide receiver room if he was to commit to Michigan State.

While no one might replace the exact contribution that Coleman made, there are still some good wide receivers in the portal and Lemonious-Craig is one of them. Don’t be surprised if Michigan State still adds at least one more wideout to the room before fall camp starts.
