Michigan State football commits troll horrendous BBQ at the Big House meal

What is this?

A couple of Michigan State football commits saw what Michigan was serving at BBQ at the Big House and couldn’t believe it.

It’s been a great weekend for Michigan State football recruiting. The program hosted ‘Thy Shadows’ on Friday night and then Spartan Dawg Con on Saturday to connect recruits with former players and coaches.

Charlton and Mercer Luniewski were both in attendance for the event and tweeted about how much fun they had throughout the weekend. They also posted pictures with fellow recruits and everyone was having a good time.

Down the road, however, there was another recruiting event going on. Michigan hosted its annual BBQ at the Big House where recruits come in and enjoy a meal at Michigan Stadium while connecting with coaches and players. But when a whole event is based around the concept of a BBQ, you would expect the food to be really good, right?

Well, Elijah Dotson, a three-star recruit at the event, posted a picture of one of the saddest meals ever to be dubbed “BBQ” and it made its rounds on social media.

As you can see, there’s a great meal there if they were serving fourth graders. A hot dog with a single grill mark, the world’s driest bun, chicken tenders that were cooked three days earlier, a bland-looking mac and cheese, and undercooked tater tots. The only appetizing part of the meal was a cookie that was a little bigger than the head of the spoon nearby.

The Luniewski brothers caught wind of the meal and did a little trolling on Twitter (or X).

This is just a hilarious look for Michigan that probably won’t affect anything, but they have to do better for their recruits. Calling an event a BBQ and then serving this is just atrocious.

It was so bad that even Michigan fans were calling out the spread.
